| 02-23-2010 | Annual "Pay it Forward" Blood Drive The 3rd Annual MWS Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, February 23rd from 1pm-6pm, in the Community Hall. Blood donors, age 16 and older can register ahead on the schedule in the Desert Road office, walk-ins are welcomed. We encourage people to schedule a time to make the process runs smoothly and to prevent any unnecessary waiting. Volunteers are needed to help the Blood Drive be successful. Help is needed with registration, serving snacks, and escorting those who have given blood. Please see the sign up sheet in the office or email for more information. | 02-26-2010 | Mardis Gras Ball The 8th grade is sponsoring an adults-only Mardis Gras Ball in the Community Hall with proceeds to benefit Haiti. Come dance your socks off to live vintage and future rock and roll by Giraffe Attack ( and maybe a few surprise guests...) There will be delicious food, beverages, and a festive scene in which to show your support and have fun too. In order to encourage Merriconeag parents with young children to attend, we are offering free childcare by a student, in your home, to the first 20 ticket buyers in need. Tickets are only $10 each, and will go on sale February 4th at 3 pm. Look for the 8th graders and reserve a sitter and some tickets!
